i was recently asked by a friend to become a blogger for a site that launches next month. after reading the rules and regulations i found that everything i write on the site is then “property” of the company it’s owned by. i decided i needed an “artistic release” that was absolutely mine.. something like a wordpress page(!). i didn’t read the fine print when i signed up for this website, so hopefully my existential writing experience (aka this blog) is not only a reflection of my creativity; or lack there of, but a collaboration of words that are still mine once they hit.. the.. uh.. virtual paper.

I tend to write a lot of poetry. i’ve been published, not much to brag about though,  i’m almost positive that those poetry websites publish almost everything submitted if it’s author is willing to pay for its publishing fees. one of my greatest fears is that some emo kid will try to steal my writing and pass it off as his or her own. after vicariously mourning my few tragic, brief, and mostly meaningless love affairs they will probably proceed to cutting themselves while screaming my poetic words to a “tune” that will someday make its way to mainstream airplay. i get worried just thinking about it.

i also don’t always use capitalization in my writing, though i am relatively critical about punctuation. i am an english graduate, so if you have a problem with my punctuation, i entirely blame the institution that granted me the degree i earned.

more to come.. i swear! i actually plan to utilize this blog more than i have the others i have started. this can be a therapeutic release, or something. I may also speak of many of my friends in pseudonyms, i just hope i can keep track of who’s who in this fabricated evasion of my life..
